Best All In One Printer Scanner Fax Copier Machines
78Each of the following all in one printer scanner fax and copier machines are very affordable. This does not mean they are cheap, but for all the functions they preform they are affordable.
These all in one printers have consistently garnered rave reviews from every corner of the computing world, and are presented below, in order to simplify your selection process.
These machines are best used in either a home office or small business setting. They are obviously not ideal for larger business use, because they are just not made for that amount of volume. This is each company's best effort at delivering a superior multifunction printer (MFP) experience to a small group of people.
Canon Pixma MX860
One reviewer has called this Canon all in one printer scanner fax "the iPod of multifunctions." Indeed, it is a great machine.
Canon's Pixma MX860 prints fast. The speed is one of its greatest assets. Print quality is good, although for those of you who highly value printing your own photos it may not be your best choice. People generally report it as easy to use as well, which is one of my biggest peeves with so many all in ones.
Don't expect to be able to scan legal documents either. This model is geared toward everything that a normal person would want to be able to do from the comfort of their home. If you want a bunch of fringe accessories you will have to spend a lot more money.
HP Officejet 6500 Wireless
Among the HP all in one printers this one stands out. This HP can load 250 sheets at a time, which puts it a leg up on the competition. If loading and re-loading is a big deal for you, then you may have a winner here. A bigger capacity means less thinking and planning. Just don't forget to stock up before it's too late!
Here we get a wireless capability. I hate wires, do it's nice to be able to just send print jobs "through the air".
Some don't like the two line text display. Usually with an all in one printer scanner fax you will get a nice, little LCD screen with which to interact. But really, I don't think this is a huge gripe. Does it effect functionality? No. It's more of a preference than a functional issue.
Brother MFC-6490CW
Look at this big mama. This Brother all in one printer is both wireless and wired capable. It loads 50 pages automatically. It may be a bit slow (and more expensive than the others) but it can handle tabloid size documents. Anything up to 11" by 17" is game for the MFC-6490CW. That is probably where it stands out most.
On the flip side, if you are looking to save space, like many people are, then this printer could be a bit cumbersome. Overall though it is a great all in one printer scanner fax, just like the other three featured here. They have all stood out in numerous tests, all in one printer reviews, and rankings or they wouldn't have made my list. All are good choices and each offers a little something different.
Epson WorkForce 600
This is a great machine. It is small and that is its virtue. Is it way smaller than the others? Well, by a couple inches which could mean a great deal to someone with limited space. (Are your papers overflowing onto the ground?)
The WorkForce 600 is Epson's greatest contribution to the all in one printer scanner fax (and copier) world. Another positive is its built-in Wi-Fi (wireless) capabilities. This is where it has a leg up versus the overall superior Canon at top.
